Lessons in Viewing Suffering as a Sign

I don’t believe that suffering is a lesson from god or that we have to learn through pain and suffering. I believe suffering is a sign that we’ve forgotten god and we are experiencing the generational and energetic results of that, past ego chains from humankind.

I believe when pain and suffering do come up we are meant to learn from it but not that we deserve it or are being punished.  Though talk to me when a part of myself is triggered  and feeling like what is their worst and my parts will identify with that still a bit. It’s a work in progress.

My own experiences and consequences with chronic childhood dysfunction that progressed far into adulthood, hearing clients stories over the years and witnessing the chaos and insanity of civil rights atrocities, school gun shootings, corruption, oh there’s too much to count and let’s not.

It has reiterated to me that all of this pain and violence and suffering is the result of our disconnection from god, from our highest and truest self and that the only lesson to learn from these experiences is to remember differently for the next time, to learn to love ourselves better, feel our stuffed feelings, surrender, act effectively.

However going through the experience of this is quite painstaking at minimum and well we are wired by our past and urgently want to avoid. It’s in our makeup and nervous systems but we can rewire.

We can raise our collective bar and yes we can expect to learn from pain.

We are given that gift from our highest self to be able to transform and reorganize suffering into a path towards connection.

Bottoming out teaches us things, shows us how to RISE. But it’s not the only way nor the way we want to keep cultivating.

The universe is conspiring for our highest good but we have to practice asking for wisdom to heal these pains and transform them.

The way is through and the answer will inevitably be peace.
